Water testing is available as both an in-store services and also is included with aquarium service packages. Freshwater and saltwater aquarium water testing and analysis is available to help ensure that you maintain a happy healthy aquarium environment. Water quality is one of the most important factors in having success in maintaining a healthy Freshwater or Saltwater aquarium habitat.
Testing is performed for the basic PH, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate. We also offer more in depth testing for KH/Alkalinity, Phosphates, Magnesium, and Calcium for a small fee.
• FREE water testing and analysis in our Renton store for basic pH, nitrite, nitrate, ammonia and alkalinity. These tests are performed to ensure the tank environment is healthy for your current fish and fish you may want to add to your aquarium. Testing is performed on a first come first serve basis and is REQUIRED for our Livestock Guarantee. Some testing may take some time and we may not be able to test during weekends, store event, or sales.
Some testing for saltwater aquariums and more specific reef aquariums requires more in-depth, costly tests. These aquarium test kits are more precise and accurate. They can help you diagnose some more specific water quality issues that you may be having with your saltwater aquarium.
• We also offer more in depth testing for KH/Alkalinity, Phosphates, Magnesium, and Calcium for a small fee. We charge a small fee ($1.00 each test) for the following aquarium water tests performed, Calcium, Alkalinity/KH, Magnesium, and Phosphates. Even more advanced test can include Iodine, Iron, Potassium test ($2.00 each test).
